Explaining This Site--The Blog Behind the Blog

So, my first mistake in entering blogdom….over-sharing early on. When I got a blog, I thought how great it would be to share it with my friends and my family, in-laws, etc, for posting pictures of the kids and family news. Uh....MISTAKE!

Well, actually it IS great for that. And Sincerely Steph will continue to be that—a place to see our latest family news, kid pics, fun stories. But, it defeats the purpose of being able to randomly post thoughts, however bizarre and disturbed they may be, if you have to censor yourself because you don’t want your in-laws or parents to read it! Not a smart move on my part, eh…live and learn from me!!!

So, this is my attempt to remedy that. Seriously Steph is my more private blog. The “blog behind the blog” let’s say. It’s a place where I can vent, post humorous-but-private stories, do some creative writing, or just share the very personal side of me.

I realize this says something pretty telling about me--that I have to have a blog hidden behind a blog. I'm actually mulling over what that really means. Perhaps I'll write about that on here one day!

I don’t even know if I will ever share this with anyone—or maybe I’ll share it with just a few very close friends. Seriously Steph is for me more than anything---a SAHM (stay-at-home-mom) who is a writer at heart but who hasn’t found her niche in the world yet.
